I am looking at buying this or one like it to start out with. Does anyone have any input on this beaing a good by or maybe point me in the right direction. I will not be doing roofs only house wash and flat surfaces.
I’d go with belt or gear drive if it were me……
Skip that garbage and get a belt drive for a few hundred more. Much more versatile and reliable
Do you recommend one?
Ive used a pressure pro 4 gal belt drive for awhile and have been very satisfied
What’s the price? Get the belt drive like everyone else said.
This is the one I bought, except a skid mount 8 years ago and it still runs like a top. Never done a thing to it except change oil and put a new starter cord on it. Get you a decent 16" surface cleaner and you’ll have a nice little money maker.
Check your local Facebook Marketplace for a belt drive unit. I happen to have one for sale in Louisville, I’m sure you can find one there.
Or, if you’re mechanically inclined just piece one together yourself. DuroMax 440, gear reduction gearbox, pump and unloader from Southside. Gonna be considerably cheaper building your own.
Lowes even sells a DuroMax v-twin for under a grand and is more powerful than the Honda GX690.
