I know this thread is pretty old, but I have the same 65 gallon buffer tank from tractor supply. Currently I have it turned perpendicular on my trailer. I would prefer not to use the existing bulkhead for plumbing my pressure washer. Is it even possible to add a bulkhead to the side of the 65 gallon tank with surface being curved?

There is no way for the bulkhead to sit flush.
That’s what I thought, so it won’t work correct? What about a uniseal?
Remove the old bulkhead and drill a bigger one around the existing one.
