Never dealt with stucco

Anyone see any potential issues with doing a standard house wash on this house? I’ve never done anything other than vinyl siding to this point.

what machinery/pump/delivery system you using?

Machine is:
Pressure PRO EB4040HC-4300 PSI-Gas Pressure Washer-w/ General Pump HP Series Triplex Pump

Using 10% chlorinating liquid mixed with water. I start with a 3-1 ratio (more water) and increase if needed. And I use elemonator surfactant.

You should never need to increase from 2.5%, or anywhere near that, on vinyl. That would be your high end on the stucco, if it’s bad, maybe… Figure on a lot of rinsing.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it!
For stucco, do I still let it dwell for around 10-15 minutes like on vinyl, or maybe longer with stucco?

Also, that tile roof should be fine to hit as well with the same mixture right?

Whoa wait a sec, there’s a lot to unpack here. Don’t do ANYTHING yet, especially with that roof. You’re trying to use a downstream injector which isn’t the right equipment for the job.

I concur there… if you’re normally using a 2.5% mix with a 10-15 minute dwell time on vinyl, I think we need to back up and rethink the starting point you’re coming from first. Way too much SH, dwelling for too long in almost every case. Or are you downstreaming that 2.5%? That might account for the excessive dwell…

Another item I forgot in the initial post was to make sure you know what those metal roof areas are all around that thing.

You’re definitely not going to make much change to that house with a DS injector… and the roof won’t even know you’re there.

Sorry, I’m downstreaming it. So I guess that makes it a 0.25% solution? Always works on vinyl but I guess that’s a pretty weak mix right?

what size injector you running, a 1.8?

I don’t know, sorry. Can you tell from this pic?

Look at the hexagon(?) between the quick connects and see if it says on there.

Will say on brass piece if not too corroded. Should be 1.8 or maybe 2.1. It’s on there.

It’s says 1.8 at the top and then “2 - 3” under it. Rest is illegible.

So your machine with that injector, you need to have a couple of spares, by the way, will pull right at 10% or 10-1. So for most vinyl houses, if you were making up 10 gal of mix, put in 6 gal of SH and 4 gal of water, 6-7oz of Elemonator and you’d be shooting around .6%. On a stucco house, may want to go a little stronger if dirty, but one you showed doesn’t look particularly dirty. As someone mentioned, cut back on your soap some, because that rough texture on stucco holds on to everything. With your 4gpm machine you’ll be rinsing forever if you use too much soap.
