Ok fine, you’re not a liberal, nor am I. I simply don’t care about the “throttling” issue. I don’t mind the prospect of a tiered internet in which much of the garbage now slogging up the pipes remains legal but available only to those willing to pay premium pricing to access it. I really don’t care if porn addicts, brain dead video gamers, “you tubers” and netflix binge watchers have to pay more when they are constantly dragging down Internet speeds.
Secondly, what “freedom” do you have now? Netflix killed blockbuster and now Netflix decides what you watch. You don’t think they give preference to their own original content? If I want to see American Graffiti, or Dirty Harry, I have to buy it on DVD or “rent it” online for 4 bucks, how is that fair and equal programming? Netflix, You Tube, the Pornos, and gaming sites should be footing more of the bill in my opinion and if that makes me ignorant, then so be it.
