Howdy fellow washers and internet users. So Thursday the FCC votes on the internet neutrality and it’s not looking good. 3 of 5 representatives are republicans voting to repeal our net neutrality. Thank you Mr. Trump for appointing Ajit Pai and soon to make our internet like cable TV your much loved. Nothing like some greedy corporate shills.

I do thank Mr Trump…the government does not need to regulate this like it has medicine and public education…it has ruined both of those.
Everyone is not a bleeding heart liberal…some of us prefer to let markets set rates free of government telling them what to do.

I will say I was about as big a fan of Trump as I was Clinton or Sanders… but
The economy is ROARING. Last month 40,000 manufacturing jobs were added. The stock market is breaking new highs left and right. Tax rates are going down. And it only took a year with General Mattis off the bench for ISIS to be out of Iraq.
Now if we can just get him to scrap this idea of a big dumb wall that’s only going to increase the deficit and finally legalize marijuana and get these non-violent offenders out of prison…

I personally want the wall and enough LE to keep it protected. I don’t have an issue with coming into this country but do it the right way. No Wall, No Protection and you get criminals.

I agree. Do it legally. But the wall is REALLY dumb. We’ve got as much coastline. Are they gonna build the wall all the way around? If not, the wall isn’t going to stop them.
The deficit is already horrendous. Scratch the wall.
End the war on drugs.
Stop giving Americans AND illegals free shit. I.e. healthcare, welfare.
Then the immigrants that truly just want to work will be the only ones left with incentive to come here.
Oh… and more often than not immigrants are doing the jobs Americans feel they’re above doing. I grew up in a city with what many call the “The Mexican Store” which is simply bigot for a place contractors and companies can go to find skilled labor for cheap.
It’s called the Westside CAN Center. Google it. It’s a place that helps immigrants through the bureaucracy to get work visas, green cards etc. Helps connect them with work. It’s actually really cool but they have to get there first.
I’ll argue to the death that Hispanics will outwork most Americans 7 days a week in jobs Americans feel too good to do anyway. Nobody works harder.
I could also direct you to research that clearly states migrant workers are good for the economy if you’d like?
When it comes to allowing criminals, yeah that’s obviously happened, but how many criminals are already here as Americans? Saying that criminals way immigrate is a silly argument. They’re already here.
What just happened in California with the not guilty verdict for the illegal that killed that young woman is criminal on the judicial level, but its also a very Californian thing to happen and no one should be surprised.
99% of the time I want the federal government as far away from the states issues as possible, but I’m firmly convinced they need to get into California and hit reset because it is outta hand. Politics have superced justice and logic there. It’s gross…

In irder to get them you have to show proof of citizenship, like a birth certificate, DL are no proof.

The wall will add a minute amount of money to our trillions of dollars deficit,…20 billion dollars in this budget is like a gnat on an elephant.

If you see kids at SSs they are not alone but with their parents.
Only thise who are US citizens have the right to ask for medicaid and other sevices.
For example if in a house hold of…lets say 10, and only 3 are US citizens, only 3 will get benefits.

All an illegal immigrant has to do to recive social security or snap(foodstamps) is sign a sworn affidavit stateing they are the victim of abuse or trafficking. Seems like if you volunteer you would know that.

My wife is Mexican and some of her family immigrated here illegally. They try to come here because they are oppressed, trafficked, raped, and killed where they are from. There are awful places in Mexico. And the majority of them come to the US and do jobs that no one here wants to do anyway. Our world would fall apart without people like them here because of all the dirty manual labor they do.
Does anyone seriously think that the same people who live on welfare and riot for that “Fight for $15” BS would go out and pick fruit for 12 hours a day for a few dollars an hour? No way on earth that’d ever happen.
Most of them don’t have higher education anyway, so when people say that Mexicans come over and take their jobs are just lazy or too uneducated themselves to do any better.
It can’t be both ways. We can’t depend on those people for the foundation of our economy and then also whine and cry that they come here.
And when you say “they should do it all legally”, you probably don’t know what the heck you are talking about. My wife had to help her grandpa fill out paperwork all the time so that he didn’t get deported and it’s unbelievably difficult to deal with it all.
It’s just funny to see everyone expressing their opinions but no one actually knows anything about it. Just a bunch of racist BS and turned eye to the realities of immigration.
On top of that, we came over here and slaughtered all the Native Americans and took their land, so we are all immigrants anyway. So what gives us the right to treat other people so poorly now, like we are any better.
