My daughter is still in Texas so I just flew in today from Washington from a project that won’t end. Heading back in the morning for another week. Lot more stress than bug guts on a windshield. I really do miss those bugs lol

And the bugs and your fellow truck washers miss you as well @dperez.

Real world update: this mix got me through approximately 60-63 gallons of SH. Ran out of it almost exactly the same time as I did SH on “Killer Thursday”.

I think the scent additive is definitely more potent and effective when used in the dual barb setup. I’m betting it degrades quite a bit when sitting in a tank of straight SH (it might also have a tendency to separate and float to the top, being an oil-based compound).

With my current setup, I’m only using about an ounce per 20 gallons SH. I remember I couldn’t get hardly any scent coverage when adding only an ounce directly the the 20 gallon tank.

I second the viton 3 way valves. I got rid of the banjo ones and got these

Update: the soap barb stopped pulling from my surfactant mix on the second to last day of the condo job. I have not had a chance to diagnose yet, but I have to assume one of the tiny orifices got clogged with a grain of sand or something.

So it’s very important to have some type of strainer for your soap line. I didn’t. Live and learn.

When I went ahead and dumped my soap/scent mix directly into the bleach tank (and stirred it up really good) my scent coverage practically disappeared. I had to add more than double the amount of masking agent to the tank before I started to even get close to the same coverage I had with the dual barb setup.
