So I’m getting ready to file my LLC papers and have to come up with a name. The area I’m in is Calhoun, Louisiana , which most refer to this area as North La.
The name I’m thinking is North Louisiana Power Washing. Almost all other companies close use pressure washing in the name. Give me your thoughts on the name please.
Ouchita Parish Power Washing (if that’s the county you live in)
I’d use whatever term (power washing or pressure washing) is more common in your area.
I’d search to make sure there are no similar names.
Where are you getting your LLC through? Depending on who you use, they can search to see if there are similar names.
I’ve already searched the web and the state website for that name and nobody has it. I’m filing my LLC thru the state. I took your advice from another thread and searched what everybody is using. Power washing seems to be popular around here.
Only reason I’m not going with ouachita parish power washing is there are a ton of businesses (all types) that use ouachita parish. My first choice was already taken, Nela power washing.

What does your girlfriend/wife think of the name? The names I came up with and the ones my wife came up with for the biz were quite different. I went with her suggestion because she’s good at that stuff.
Around here a lot of people use “St Louis” and then their business industry so I think it’s overused here. But I also realize there are advantages.

That’s why I went with North Louisiana because Ouachita parish is overused around here. Plus doing a website would be tuff since the local government is called ouachita parish. I’m still waiting on her input but she’s been snowed under at work.

Wife just said Voodeaux power washing. 
Yeah them boys might be getting in trouble with the NCAA over the money deal. But they played a good game and deserved it.
If you were in NOLA maybe but in NELA i dont think it would go over well. No one wants the voodoo in their house putting that witchcraft hw mix that kills all the algae. It’s blasphemy.

Red’s Power Washing
I’m not good at names. My daughter wants to name it Pitbull Power Wash.
I like them in the order they’re listed.
#1 Nela Pro Wash
#2 Nela Exterior Wash
#3 not really feeling this one
I like the Pitbull Power Wash mainly because you could have some great tag lines

That’s a great idea @Racer! Haven’t even thought of tag lines yet! I got another 2weeks before I file my LLC with the state.
