Need some confidence boosters on this

Second season in the business. Got first job of this kind.
It’s a four-story concrete building.
The plan is to rent a manlift (first time too), soak the plants, hit the concrete with 3-4%, cover or keep soaking the plants, 2-3 coats.
I have already told the client, expect some burned leaves and/or damaged plants.
Should I do it differently?

Make sure to use tyvek to cover stuff as it breathes compared to a tarp that would heat burn the plants.

I would run for the hills.

That’s going to be a big job. I doubt that just hitting it bleach is going to dissolve all that grime. Plan to spend a lot of time actually “pressure washing” those building sides. The college near me hired an out of state company to do some buildings on campus that look similarly dirty, and they are using high rise scaffolding and just cleaning with high pressure inch by inch as they work their way down.

I see alot of wild vegetation and weeds.trees that need cutting back to save you the hassle of not burning leaves.prune and clear the branches other wise it will be a half done job.good luck.keep us informed on how it went

It’s not dirt so a lil SC isn’t going to touch it unless your upstreaming SH. Well it might get 10 percent off with water alone :crossed_fingers:

I think that was a joke.

Oh and heck no to the OP. Look at all those tight places you’d have to clean covered in vegetation. Looks like something out of a post apocaliptic movie.:flushed:

Plus as I’m a window cleaner as well, don’t go spraying those windows with 4%.

Just a little humor  That thing’s pretty cute though, ain’t it?

You need a whisper Wash Extender to reach the top…

Best to do a test using exactly what you have or plan to use.

If you want cute you gotta get the baby Mosmatic then you strap yourself in to one of those telescopic poles

That would work, but if he isn’t on a lift, his arms will give out lol

There’s a guy in Australia I think, on IG he does these buildings with a small spinner… I’ll try to look and post a few pics of him working

All that vegetation growing on the building? Start from the bottom up or you’ll have streaked mess. good luck.

There’s a harness that will take most of the weight off. Still, I imagine 8 hours using that will mess you up.
