Good evening friends. Couple of days ago small family owned crematorium contacted me for a building wash. I got the typical mold /lichen off the building however the door was particularly sooty. They roll it up when furnace is in use so lots of carbon deposits were on. Things I tried : LA totally awesome, purple de-greaser, usual 2% SH, straight 12.5 sh., mix of la awesome and SH - Nothing worked. LA totally awesome took some black off (with heavy brushing) but door was still far from being cleaned. So I was wondering if anyone ever had to clean similar stuff off galvanized metal? It almost look like a fire damage but it is just a years of neglect. I told the owner I will come back and try the door again but he was cool about it. Said it already looked 100 % better. Anyhow, below is a pic of before. Any suggestions are welcome.
