Pretty much any Sherwin-Williams exterior paint except A-100 can be used on vinyl siding. It does take a couple of weeks to cure, however. If you give it a scratch test the next day, it will scratch right off. The bond forms over time.
The bigger issue with painting vinyl is if you change to a darker color, it will absorb more heat and you’ll have warping issues. SW’s VinylSafe color pallet sidesteps the problem with dark color by substituting completely different spectral power distributions that APPEAR to be the same when all that stuff gets processed in your brain. It’s a pretty cool trick.
