So I’m new to this forum/website and I think it’s my best bet with figuring out the steps that need to be taken to start a pressure washing business. So I’m graduating high school soon and going to college for business (I live in NC), but I’m from a small town where a pressure washing service isn’t available and I want to run my own pressure washing business in the summers (way more profitable than minimum wage). I plan to pressure wash houses, cars, driveways. Where do I need to start? I know I need licenses, insurance, registrations. I already have a truck and pressure washer. I just need guidance with acquiring the legal things necessary to start up my own PW business as well as an estimated cost (I will have no one working for me). Thanks for the help!!
What town? You don’t need a license in NC. They were outlawed in 2015 fortunately. Contact http://williamson-insurance.com/ and ask for Kim. Tell her William Page sent you. That will take care of the legal end. Rest is up to you to not screw up, figure out what your doing and make some money.
