Hello gents( apologies to those who consider that an insult).
I haven’t posted here in more than a few years, as i haven’t had any issues with my pressure washer.
Now, im requesting advice from the more experienced ones here.
I have a Landa PG 4/3500, thats what it says on the handle. I got it 7 years ago and it had a problem with the unloader being stuck open.
That issue has happened again this month, and i think its time i replace it and solve that issue properly.
I just dont know which one would be best for me, i would also like to add a pressure gauge at the same time.
My Landa is stock as far as i know, and this would be the 1st upgrade to it.
I use it a few times a year to clean horse trailers, or my truck, or around the house.
Im not looking to purchase any $600 parts, when i can spend a couple hundred and get the same results.
I can hopefully add pics when i get home for you all to help make better suggestions and guide me better.
Thank you for your time.
Walter.
If you want to stick with pressure-trapped, the VRT-3 is about the most affordable option that’s still reliable. If you’re considering a flow unloader, take a look at the ZK1.
I go with the 3/8" VRT blue spring, and i order them through ebay for the better pricing. There universal and will pretty much fit any commercial pressure washer. We’ve got them on our Landa’s as well.
K1 is the bee’s knees. I don’t know which version would work with a 4gpm though.
Not sure i need a flow unloader, I’ll probably go back to a pressure trap.
I know the plumbing will be a little different going from the bolt on to a new one. What all will i bee needing? A short whip hose or 3, unloader block? This is all new territory to me.
Im also not sure when ill be doing this as my truck just went down on July 3; i get the feeling that is going to be a pricey repair bill.
Depends on what unloader you go for… but if you haven’t been using an unloader block and just had it attached to the pump then probably just a 3/8” to 3/8” male/female coupler would work.
