Names and logo design input

Hello fellow washers. Getting fiver to do a couple logo design soon and was wondering if I could get some feedback regarding them as a company and any hints on what to do or ask for in particular. The company name I have been thinking of is “Brick Stone & concrete pressure cleaning & maintenance” but it just seems way to long. Maybe “exterior clean” or “cleaning” at the end might be better? Any thoughts would be great. After reading this forum for a little while I have learnt a lot and think I may have done things a little backwards. No problem tho persistence beats resistance right! But this is something I need to get pretty much right so shirts and letterheads etc can get printed up, so any input would be awesome. Thanks guys.

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long I agree.

What about Stone Cold Cleaners?

Could reference to Stone Cold Steve Austin haha

Agreed. You definitely should shorten the name. Will you only be doing brick, concrete, and stone? If so, and you want to stick with that theme… then maybe BSC Pressure Washing, BSC Exterior Maintenance, etc…

or BCS Pressure Washing… in alphabetical order like it should be( if you have OCD lol)

If you are cleaning more than just brick, stone, and concrete… then I would consider other names that don’t limit your services.

I’d go with something like ADLD. It’s a good umbrella type name that isn’t too specific, I’ve already mentioned this before, but I don’t like job specific company names, like Window Gleam, or w.e. because what if a few years down the road you specialize in marble restoration or w.e.
Same thing goes for the word exterior, what about indoor work.

I’m intrigued by company names line Amazon or Google, those names don’t tell you what they do, neither does your name have to, its the frase after, or slogan that can explain.
So I’d go with something like ADLD Inc./LLC/or the Australian equivalent, THEN on cards and website you can put Cleaning services, but legally you don’t need a long name that describes what you do.

My advice is for your use of fiver. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for. If you pay 15 dollars for a logo, you’re gonna get some Indian dude making you a generic ass logo he made with Microsoft paint.

Sums it up. I had them design our logo. Went for the “minimalist” look category. Got exactly what I paid for. Nothing about it says minimalist. I ended up removing some of the details in the logo and changing the font and colors of our company name. Lady lives in Iran so any changes I wanted, and I think your allowed up to 3 before paying extra, were handled in a few days.

Mine was unlimited revisions but each revision got worse and worse lol. Needless to say im having someone do it locally lol

Thanks for that input. I’ll keep that in mind when putting it all through. I don’t mind it been somewhat simple, but it needs to look the part as you all know. I’ll give them a try and try not to be to much of a Scrooge and see how it turns out.

Fiverr did mine for 35 dollars. Unlimited revisions. I kind of knew what I wanted so I drew a picture and sent it to them. They gave me options, I went with one, but wanted it tweaked a bit. 2 days and I have my logo. I was pleased with the work. You get the rights to the work, you get a jpg, png, and vector file of the logo. No complaints.

Looks good. That’s the sort of thing I’m after. Simple yet catchy. It will be interesting to see what what they will come up with.

I used Fiverr username “actualreviewnet”. No complaints

I think fiver is like anything else, sometimes you get what you pay for. I tried them and it was a disaster. I even tried to give the girl a pretty good direction of what I was looking for and it just didn’t work at all. She ended up refunding my money (which I didn’t ask her to do and had already chalked it up as a loss) and politely asked me to find someone else. I ended up finding a local designer that did mine. He was very reasonable and easy to work with. And I actually like that I was able to keep it somewhat local.

Which gig did you get if you dont mind me asking

I paid $85
