Any one see this before?

Yes, rinse only. No soap, especially no bleach. They use them a lot around here on gable ends but not typically on an entire side.

Just make sure you don’t wash it or you’ll end up with the blame.

Thanks William, the majority of the house looks like the picture I posted. Looks pretty bad.Soft wash pressure correct?

No, don’t do anything to it. They are on apartments that I wash but it is noted in bid that they will be rinsed with water only. I don’t even soap the fascia above them. You will make more money by not doing it.

Thanks again William. I am passing on this.

Why not do a sample test? If it cleans which im betting will than do it. Dont understand how you could make less $$ by adding another service.

Nah, after reading reviews on this particular product and the advice of
some one with over 20 years experience in this industry, that is William
Page, their are jobs walk away from. Hopefully Paul_Kelly, you come
across this product and do post us some of your before and after pics
of how you made out with Nailite siding.

I agree…it is wise to follow the advice of someone with his experience and success.

You make more money by not creating or inheriting a headache. First time I washed one it cost me a couple grand to have it painted. Doesn’t matter if it was my fault or not. I took care of it because I had more contracts on the line with the company. Thus my bids that say don’t I don’t wash them. I don’t care what others do. I learned from my mistake and haven’t repeated it.

Perhaps if you did a test sample you could have prevented your mistake.

Lol. Well played. It looked like regular vinyl to the crew. I didn’t fault them. Live at learn. Hopefully at the expense of others.

IBS- What happens to it if it does get serfactent or SH on it?

Can not speak for William, but after the home owner read the reviews on this siding, they asked me to try some cleaner on the area on the photo I posted. 5 minute dwell, rinse- no change!

Hi!

Is there any change at all when you just rinse them with water? Just had a call from a homeowner with this above brick. Wondering if I just need to tell them to get paint quotes.

Thanks

No change, but it isn’t getting cleaned either, if that makes sense.

Yes. Do you, by chance, know if regular paint will adhere to this stuff. When I say no, I always like to help give them something to move them forward…

No idea

Thanks, appreciate your help!
