My rig, built from knowledge from this forum

Hey guys, just thought I would show off what I’ve been using. Everything was built from knowledge gained on this forum so thanks to all! I started out window cleaning, so on the front of the trailer I have my 12v battery, pump, filters, and a way-overkill GP reel for my poke hose. Also a large tool box. Then I have my supply hose reel with flexzilla to fill both buffer tanks. GP reels were 165 on Amazon so I got a few, can always use them for actual pressure hose later. Both tanks are 125 gallon, one for WFP and one for my 4gpm belt drive. Also we have horribly hard water so all incoming water off the supply reel runs through the portable water softener. Best thing I bought! Then on the back I have my GP reel with 250’ of hose, unloader block which I modified so I could run straight through and not have a 90. Also two 16 gal tanks for my house mixes, sometimes I travel a couple hours and stay out of town so I like to bring lots with me. I’m in a very dry area in Canada so no algae here, I mostly wash off webs/egg sacks/dirt. Usually 0.5% downstream mix does the job perfectly.

Looks good. Each tank needs to be secured separately

That’s a good point. Will do in near future. Also here is a close up of the unloader block setup. I just drilled a new hole in the side and plugged the top to get rid of the 90. I have the flow-actuated unloader on quick connects for a quick change out if need be, and leave it uncoupled while travelling.

You don’t want or need your unloader on QC… takes 5 minutes to change one out.

True, Haven’t had one fail on me yet anyway so having less fittings would be better.

Yes and safer

The unloader block is for the unloader to be mounted directly to it. JIC connections make for quick changeouts

It was my understanding that the whole point of an unloader block was to provide a solid non flexible hard mounting point for an unloader and thats it. Correct me if im wrong?!? I have a new factory landa hot h20 unit…thats about the only point i see thus far.

I think it is more to get the weight of the unloader off the pump to reduce vibration and lessen the stress on the pump. I seen a picture on here where the weight of the unloader + vibration caused it to strip the threads right out of the pump.
