My first trailer love 💝

Ok consider this add some thicker straps and a stop block on the bottom to help it not to slide out strap going in the center vertically you cant be to safe cheap upgrade till you can get chemical tank

I think you may want to reconsider on that one. It’s not so much the day to day transport and stuff that you need to be concerned with. It’s what may happen if your trailer was ever involved in a wreck or something similar. I’d be worried about it flying off and going through someone’s windshield or busting all over the highway. Definitely put some bigger straps on that thing and the stop block idea is a good one. Maybe I’m just a worry wart.

When you start making some money just invest in a 55 gallon vertical tank with the straps and floor mounting bracket. it 300. dollars well spent

I use this to get the SH directly dropped.

@SurfaceTherapy @Firefighter4hire @Kps0410 I forgot to tell all that we are putting a 1 foot tall back support as well.

Look into the tank. a one foot wall will be useless to keep the drum in

I wouldn’t say useless…it’ll give it that first good jolt up into the air and put it right about windshield level. Should be fine…right?

So I’m really just trying to help not knock your trailer. How much sh are you using a day I use about 25 gallons if I’m not doing roofs. Would you consider a smaller tank. That drum just scares me all I can see is that thing rolling down the highway after it crushed something and you are instantly out of business
Ask yourself is it really worth taking that chance

Why is there a metal screen filter on the bleach pump?

Go to a local high school with a welding class and show them exactly how you want it. They will usaully do it for the price of material. Double check it all before you leave. If theys anything like my high school they love it when you bring them in something to weld.

That’s awesome! He can mow your yard, wash your car and house, fix the cabinet door and when he’s done with all that he can lay down bamboo flooring in your yoga studio! What a beast.

I bet he is busy as a one arm man in a paper hanging factory

@dperez the screen is stainless steel. Do you have a better recommendation?

@Kps0410 @Firefighter4hire @DisplacedTexan —- you guys make solid arguments. Give me a few days I’ll post a new updated restraining system for the 55 gal drum.

@spaceclean I meant to say this yesterday but forgot. Get rid of that clear reinforced hose you’re using for your feed. It will begin to breakdown in sunlight. Ask me how I know…you can get 1" noncollapsible suction hose from most pool supply stores. They are UV resistant and will last much longer.

Yes get you some good spiralflex hose so when you gotta replace it you will have it.

It looks like you’ve really put a lot of hard work and pride into it. but, listen to the advice given. most of the guys replying have a good bit of experience in this. like mentioned get rid of the wood. it’s not going to hold up to the chemicals, water, and going down the road on a trailer. it looks good now but get a few miles on it getting bounced around on the trailer and it’s going to start getting loose and falling apart. you’ve got a nice layout just change the type of material used

Id keep the wood and go out there and make some money this year. You have all winter to switch it over to metal plus i can bet you you will find something you wish you would have done different with you first build.
Im not going to do anything else to this trailer. Im probably going to buy @racer trailer from him repaint it and replace some boards and go bigger this winter. Ive about done everything i can with space on mine and weight limit.
