My first pressure washing job

Hello!
We provide cleaning services (mainly supplying cleaners and janitors for apartment buildings). Recently, one of the buildings asked us to clean their underground garage. I have a bit of experience using a pressure washer (just a couple of staircases near a house, and we didn’t use any chemicals), but now we’re talking about 400 square meters.

The equipment I have is a Kärcher HD 5/17 CX Plus (2500 psi) and a Kärcher FR 30. I’m concerned whether my equipment is sufficient to handle a job of this size. Also, do I need to use chemicals, considering it’s an underground garage?

We use commercial grade degreasers for garages.

Big tnx for your answer
As I understand it, step 1 is simply brushing away large debris,
step 2 is rinsing off sand and small debris,
step 3 is applying the degreaser,
step 4 is washing with a pressure washer,
and step 5 is just rinsing again.

Sounds reasonable…

The process is right, but with an electric pressure washer and that size surface cleaner, plan on a few days to get that job done.

You’ll also have to address the water disposal issue if you’re outside the US, I hear regulations are very tight. All that greasy, dirty water has to go somewhere and a lot of places require reclaim.

I did one garage a while back and it was a NASTY job. Probably wouldn’t do it again to be honest, and I was using an 8gpm machine.
