My first job is complete.... what a mess

Link?

Also, make sure your gun is rated for 8gpm+, preferably 12gpm. Check your lance also, some cheap ones will have a mesh filter in them that will restrict flow.

I’ll take a picture of their catalog. Their website search set up is the worst… I love dultmeier when I call. I hate their website.

I was too lazy to get off the couch and had to put in just as much work searching for these things.

You have to buy the proportioners separate. Worth it though.

It seems like the orifice sizes are super small. What ratios do they pull?

So the gage is a negative? I’m new to all this so I wanted one to make sure I’m using the right pressure for certain surfaces, I don’t have good feel yet. I’ll get a new injector for sure. I have noticed that it doesn’t feel like a lot of water is coming out of my gun… Like there’s a good amount but this 5.5 that everyone was saying to get isn’t really blowing my mind.

What is an adjustable injector I’m guessing that’s what I have? I had someone from a pressure washing company install this so I’m uneducated in this regards.

So I should buy a 2-3 gpm injector for my 5.5 gpm Machine… Use a better surfactant like elemonator… Get rid of the pressure gage and try that? Definetly think that there isn’t enough Chemical hitting the house I’m going to do a test tomotorow to see how much I’m pulling. There is a solution here just have to find it!

When people say the orifices go fast… Are they losing them or are they breaking or wearing out?

The little chart that comes with the metering tips can’t be trusted. It takes a little work. I took the strongest three and ran the bucket test and threw the rest out. No proportioner it’s over 1%. The gray for my machine is right at 12:1 or 1%.

I thought the orifice size sounded small too, but I don’t think they’re using the same system as the 2.1, etc.

I love that they’re stainless. I’d bet a non-essential toe that if you try one you’d never look back and I’ll let you keep your toe.

Okay so with my 5.5 gpm machine can I get a concrete plan of action here guys? What the hell do I do specifically… I’ve got three house washes scheduled for this week and I just want to get this fixed so it’s enjoyable

This is the solution.

Take an hour and run a couple tests. Make sure your throttle is wide open. Fill a bucket for a minute. If it overflows before 60 seconds you’re getting 5.5 gpm.

Throw your pressure gauge as deep in the woods as you can. Not necessary. Ever. You can answer 99% of your questions with the bucket, changes in flow, pulsing, etc.

Search nozzle chart. The nozzle chart is better for keeping a couple sets of nozzles for the pressures you want to clean at. Here’s an unpopular opinion… anything over 2500 psi isn’t really necessary.

The guy who sold me my Machine said to never touch the throttle on my machine… I can change the pressure but to always have it running at full throttle… That some guys turn the throttle down to change the pressure but it’s not good for the machine? Off topic I know

Wide open. Same same. He’s right.

Again… change pressure with nozzles

Yeah I see what your saying. I was told to get the m5ds nozzle cause it’s great for house washing. My main concern right now though is getting my mix to come out properly…

Throw your thought of the M5DS in the woods with your pressure gauge. It looks to be a great nozzle. But run your tests. Take notes. Get your mix right first. No nozzle in the world is going to fix your injector.

“Throw your ******* as deep in the woods as you can.“

I guarantee I use that line in the next few days… classic

I’m pretty sure I stole it from @Innocentbystander like 90% of the stuff I say now. Maybe he said storm drain.

It made my night. IBS says some good ones.

That’s the thing though is that it’s a pricey start up in general I’ve spent a lot of money and playing around and buying stuff from the states to try and throw in the woods with my pressure gauge, nozzle and wife won’t do me any good. If I had won the lottery and had tons of money I wouldn’t be slaving away at my business lol!
