I’m impressed with your dad just because he wrote his memoirs. At some time or other many of us think about doing it but few ever get around to it. Must be a special guy, wish I had time to read it.

Name doesn’t ring a bell, but I didn’t grow up here. I have been here for almost 18 years. Looked at small John Deere tractors at the dealer on the right heading out of town in Fuquay.

I have two rabbits in a hutch in the living room. You’ll go broke raising them to eat lol. It’s more fun to go in the fields with a chuck daly 20 gauge, shoot some, and eat them in front of your pets to keep them in their place. I’ll send you a book if your low on cash

I have 4 Rhode Island reds and 5 amberlink chickens already. They are all molting right now. So no eggs.
I read you can get anywhere from 125lbs to 250lbs of meat per year depending on batch size and how often you breed with new Zealand’s. I love rabbit hunting never had much luck trapping them. Id like to be as self sufficient as possible without going to crazy about it lol.
I go food lion and buy ribeye and spam
