Mounting PW on plywood?

I understand that money isn’t there at the moment to do much of anything.

You can always try running your small trailer for a bit and:
•see how you like the industry
•see if you are gaining business
•see if you are making money enough to put it away for improving the current set up

That may take a few months or a few years depending on how things go. Then consider buying a truck and moving the set-up into that allowing you to ditch the trailer if you want to.

Just starting out it can be tough if the funding isn’t there. Many people on here will tell you to stop right now until you have enough money (or credit to get a loan) to put together a complete truck and/or trailer. But, there are also many guys who have started with an SUV or minivan and have been able to grow business to a point where they were able to put enough money aside to go out and upgrade their platform.

If you can be creative, you can make that trailer work, no doubt. Just know that one day you may want to upgrade and you’ll have to be okay with parting ways with all the customizations you made to the trailer. If you can live with that, then customize away, because in the grand scheme of things, if you do well in the business, you won’t care that the trailer won’t resell for near what you paid for it.

if your not good at backing up trailers, fhen go really slow, reeeeaalllly slow. then considering you are straight, turn wheen towards the side of the trailer you want to see, feel me?

and on the platform for your machines, just make the platform removable and you can swap it to a new trailer

Well attempting to mount pw to a table but not sure how I’m supposed to get the bolts back in once I take em off with these angles… only thing I can think of is try to measure and pre drill holes in the wood…as soon as I get a bolt out I’m go get some longer ones that will go thru the 2x8s

I’m not a fan of using wood for platforms of any engine due to the stresses it puts on it. Plus, SH will eat away wood like crazy. If you’re stuck on using it be sure to cover it with truck bed liner or Behr Deck Over. Especially the plywood floor. Drips of SH will disintegrate it in no time unless you’re extremely careful.

Yeah it might have to stay on the cart is how it’s looking…might just have to use the little table for hose reels. There’s no clearance to put longer bolts in to make it thru the wood. So I’m feeling defeated atm haha
