Have seen some topics about this but havnt found a definite answer. Currently working on building a igx800 motor with a belt driven 8gpm pump. Looking to buy a motor/pump mount but it seems like all the websites I have searched are selling gear driven mounts not big enough for a belt driven system. Anyone have recommendations on where to find a solid mount for my setup?
I buy most my skid plates from SEL Equipment… just need to know the part number and double check all the descriptions since they don’t always have photos. You are probably looking for this one
I’m building a new machine also and I’m still trying to decide what I want to do. Can I ask you why you decided to step up to the IGX800 for an 8GPM belt drive? I’ve been contemplating it but I’m not sure if it makes sense instead of the GX690 unless I was going to 10GPM..
Hey no problem at all. Honestly it was strictly based off the price I got it for. My buddy was selling it and it only had 13 hours on it. I think the gx690 is a great option as well. I have been going back and forth on 8gpm vs 10gpm. I run a skid in the back of a 3500 truck and more so concerned about having a large enough buffer tank for the 10gpm. In terms of the motor though I would have had no issue going with the 690. My current setup is a gx630 and even that has been bulletproof.
Appreciate the response I believe that will be the one I need. Not sure why I havnt come across these sooner. Feel like I have been looking for weeks.
