Was talking to rick yesterday and told him if I land this wind farm contract I’m quitting washing! Full time plow operator. Will have to really watch my weight if that happens. Pwing keeps the pounds in check.

… really? 3500 calories in a pound of fat, 60 days in two months … 200 pounds x 3500 calories = 700,000 calories ABOVE their TDEE (Total daily energy expenditure… 700,000 ÷60 = 11,600 calories a day! Extra… that’s some eating!
Listening to Meat Eater podcast today. There was a bear trap, relocated, and trapped again in under a month due to making bad choices… it gained over 100 lbs in under 1 month they said. The Elk it devoured inside a dude garage might have helped, but none the less packed on the pounds.

That’s crazy!
That really is wild. But makes sense. Ive done some short term fasting (4 days with just bugs, dandelions and plantain roots ,no more than 200 calories a day) and I lost 6 pounds during that training session because we spent so much time moving. Not even getting up to poop I wonder how much energy those bears are actually using per day… very cool science!
My jacket came in. I love it. It’s warm even without the elements turned on. This one definitely fits better. It’s very wind resistant so far. It is kind of stiff since it’s just out of the box. But Blaire‘s was the same way and loosened up after a couple wears. She absolutely loves hers.

I saw those when I was picking up Blaire’s coat at the store. I figured I’d try these first. But with the heated pockets I don’t feel like I’d use them. And I’m really hard on gloves!

I didn’t buy them either for the same reasons I might still get them though I feel like it would make running the snow blower better
