Meant to ask about this earlier as I am doing this job tomorrow. The customer wants me to wash the millglaze off their brand new Tigerwood deck. Was just planning to do a Softwash type of job. Do I need to utilize any type of chemical pretreatment? The bench is cedar but the deck is Tigerwood.

My painter said Glaze Away. Don’t know if it’s any good neither does he. But might be worth researching.
Thanks, I asked the Sherwin Williams guy and he was gonna check. I think I am just going to fan it with my 40 degree tip without as much pressure.
