Metering System Orders

Hi everyone. I’ve been getting a lot of messages from people wanting to place an order for the metering system, so here I can hopefully deal with all of that directly.

First of all, no testing has been done, please keep that in mind. Of course the worst case scenario is that you get a less restrictive metering system with larger valves and higher quality components for less than other available systems and at worst, the same performance. At best, you get more GPM, more distance, more life out of your pump, and the freedom to maintain, service, and customize the entire system yourself.

Also, some valves are backordered. There is only one company that makes metering valves in this size, and they are in Canada, and these valves are considered “special order” items for them and they don’t stock many. Last week they had a few 1" and 1/2" valves in stock, this week they only have 3 1" valves in stock. Current lead time for more valves of any size is 8 weeks.

I’ve expressed to the manufacturer that there is considerable interest in these systems and they are looking into expediting options for me to see if they can get valves in sooner, and they told me if I’ll be selling these regularly, they’d be willing to keep a number of each size in stock for me to place regular orders. They should get back to me tomorrow with expedite options, and I will be able to update then with their answers.

If you are interested in purchasing a system please respond here and indicate which system you are interested in. This will help me in ordering the valves and hopefully they’ll be more willing to expedite a larger order more quickly than just a few orders.

Keep in mind that the manifold design maybe be altered slightly for a more compact design, and pricing is subject to change at any point because the cost of the valves could increase or duty and brokerages could go up for importing them or fittings may change a bit which could alter pricing. But right now, this is what everything is at.

In case anyone is wondering, I have them priced so my margin on each of the 4 systems is as close to the same as possible, so I don’t have any preference over which system you want. I wouldn’t benefit at all from you buy the most expensive one and I wouldn’t lose at all by you picking the cheapest. It’s really just up to you and how much you want to decrease restrictions in your system.

I’m sure I’m missing some things, but again, if you want one, please respond with which one you’d like so that I can try to get back ordered valves expedited as much as possible.

Also, keep following the other thread. As systems get built and tested, that one will be updated.

1" with diaphragms
$1050

1" with hastelloy
$900

3/4" with diaphragms
$900

3/4" with hastelloy
$700

Please post here with which systems you each want so I can keep track more easily and have more bargaining power with the valve guys to try to get them expedited sooner.

I’ve gotten an update from Chemline on getting metering valves in stock. They only order for restocking once a month, and the next order is December 22. I have until then to get all the quantities of valves I need for them to request. Once the they send in a new order then, the valves will be restocked by the end of January and ready to ship to me for assembly. It takes about a week for them to get me the valves and I could ship them out quickly, so I would expect that metering systems could be delivered to your doors in the first two weeks of February most likely.

I did ask if they could order valves before then and they said no, only restocking orders once a month. There is no charge until the valves are in stock and can ship out, so there won’t be any need for payment until later.

So anyone who is interested, you have until December 22 to let me know which system you’d like to order. Since they only order stock once a month and they are long lead time valves, it’d be best to place the largest order possible. If you’re interested but don’t let me know by December 22, I’m not sure how long it’d take for them to restock again, possibly another 8 weeks.

Just FYI, if anyone else is interested in getting a metering system any time soon, you’ll need to let me know here with what size system you want. I have to let Chemline know how many valves I’ll need so they can order them from manufacturing. These valves are a specialty item and are not kept in stock, hence the long lead time. Once they get the order in Friday, valves should be in stock and ready to order for actual metering systems by the end of January ish (hopefully a little sooner). Remember, they only order for restocking valves once a month, so I think the next time multiple orders could be placed would be end of February or beginning of March possibly.

So if you want one and you haven’t posted what you want here yet, please do so.

3/4’ with the hastelloy checkvalves

So I’m putting in my order today with Chemline for the number of valves I need. So far I’m seeing (2) 1" valve systems and (2) 3/4" valve systems. There is just a few hours left before I tell chemline, so if anyone else is interested, let me know.

Just got a response back from Chemline. They put in the request to manufacturing for the valves I requested. He said they’ll update me with expected availability dates once they get confirmation from the manufacturing department.

J, do you get the Chemline valves at a discount also. If so, would you be willing to sell those for less than list.

Yes, and I am selling them for less than list pricing in the metering systems.

ha ha, you know what I meant. Go make your money brother. I’ll just keep
going the way I have then. Ain’t mad atch.

Hey Jbreezy, thanks for all your and hard work! Id love a 3/4" system with hastelloy. Would it be cheaper with a 1/2" gf valve for the soap? If so, I’d like that to be on the left or right (outside).
