Metal Roof Dried up Mold

Going to do a metal roof for the first time. When looking at it there is a spot that has dried up mold. I can scrape it with my finger and it’s very hard I obviously can’t use Pressure can I be soft washed ? What mix do you all think

If that’s the only bad area I’d mix like 3 % in a pump sprayer or if it’s low enough get a brush after you hit it with your hw mix and clean it off. Oh yeah keptp the roof wet.

Tried brushing it and it Laughed at me. Got to go back Friday and try your 3% idea

Be sure to rinse well. I recently did my house it has an oak that hangs over part of my metal roof that tends to leave a gnarly residue and I got on a ladder and got back 16-20’ used my high rinse jrod and cleaned a good bit of it.

I used my roof mix and just some light pressure and it took all this off… that roof seems to be pretty nasty but I dont see why a couple of coats with a 3% mix wouldnt kill it then you just rinse right off, just try to make sure not to let it dry on the roof

Sorry it looked like in the picture of the mold that part of the roof looked very flat… either way I wasn’t using much pressure just my 40° downstream tip you could definitely use your shooter tip from the gutter line if needed and thank you
