I am new to the group and just recently signed up. An introduction, let’s see. By trade I am a personal chef that recently sold my business due to my better looking half not retiring from the military. She was promoted at the very last minute and decided to stay in. We ended up getting stationed to Colorado but the money, for me, just wasn’t right with the job offers. I decided to come back to Texas after 6 months but when I sold my company I signed a 2yr non-compete so the food industry is not happening just yet.
While the misses was preparing for her so called retirement we began a janitorial business that included window cleaning but just like myself she sold the business. I luckily still have the equipment easily accessible, everything else is in storage. I am looking to start the window cleaning and power washing business up. I have read through numerous threads and definitely appreciate the feedback that the veterans have left for individuals like myself.
I am in San Antonio and was wondering if there was anyone that would be willing to mentor me. I’d be willing to work my way through this, as hands-on experience from experienced individuals is priceless. I’m a former army medic, former law enforcement officer (injured on duty), and prior business owner. I have the mentality and know how it takes to run a business. The business part is all the same, it’s the trade that changes.
