Mentorship?

Well I am pretty new to the business but I do think it would be a great idea to get a mentor! Never hurts to have someone to go to for information or advice. Now obviously I am not going to use my mentor as a crutch but I think it would be awesome to have one! Anyway just wanted to put it out there if anyone is interested in taking me on.

A little info on myself

I am a business administration major in Chattanooga TN. I want to start my own pressure washing business the right way. Thus far I have done 15 jobs, I have a business license, (no LLC yet), I also have insurance through next August. Obviously being in college is not ideal for going full time but I think this is a great opportunity for me to start gaining a lot of knowledge so that when I do take it full time I won’t be scrambling around to figure stuff out.

Anyway if anyone is interested just let me know!

Thanks.

If you have a boatload of grit, this forum & your own research should be all the mentor you need. If you don’t have a boatload of grit, I wouldn’t advise getting too involved in this craziness. It’s not nearly as easy as the YouTube guys make it out to be but it can be done. That being said, I’m about 2 hours from you & you are totally welcome to make the drive & tag along on a job anytime. But… I’ll bet if you get on the horn & make some calls, you’ll find a local ‘competitor’ that will be glad to give you the grand tour & save you the drive. There are a lot of top notch folks out there that would love to help you out. This forum is full of them. ‘That one guy’ alone has enough advice in the search bar to answer all your important questions & steer you in the right direction. I’m still trying to figure out where to ship his pallet of Cheerwine.

I appreciate the offer! If we can get in contact i’d love to come out on a Sunday and see the operation! If you work those days of course. But i will definitely just check out the forum for the next few months.
Thanks for the advice!
