My wife has a degree in Natural resource management and was a Wildlife officer. I have learned as much about the woods from her as I have on my own. She taught me how. Do a quick search. It’s easy to watch than explain. Wow, I told y’all to use the search function.

There is one way where you measure your shadow, or the trees shadow or something. Can’t remember that one. Taught me how to use your watch as a compass. Not a digital watch though. My how these threads derail.

I think I’ve actually seen a guy do that before. I was watching a video on how to fell trees and he was doing something like that so he could determine where the tree would fall and what objects might be in the way and he could direct it and stuff. I didn’t understand how it was doing it though. But he got it exactly right. Tree fell and ended right exactly where he measured that it would. Cool stuff.
I hate off topic stuff. @squidskc the building looks really nice! How will you get the top stuff? Do you go to the roof and then softwash from up there? Or with a lift that you drive around the building as you go? Or extension wand for your 12V gun?

I just tried doing an askjeevs.com search to verify that. Unfortunately askjeevs.com is no longer in use
I like Bing because it sounds nice. I refuse to use google to search because it sounds like a made up word.

The 20% fear fee isn’t a real thing, but I did bid it 20% higher because it’s the largest job I’ve ever done and I had to be prepared for stuff I couldn’t expect. And because I was nervous about taking on such a large job I kinda didn’t want it. But apparently I was a thousand bucks less expensive than the other company and said they could be finished in 3 days using ladders. (What?!)
I just took the aerial view of church and sectioned it off in what I thought I could get done in an 8 hour day. Came out to 5 days, added the 6th to be safe.
