Master Blaster Truck Build

Which one the purple? I prefer them facing North south myself. That’s the design prototype. I have many changes coming to it.

But the mini mondo is build the same and no big issues. But we run 2 man crews and large stuff I have someone dedicated cutting everything.

On my mini had them put arms straight back front and rear. Works great and doesn’t effect stability at all, because it’s still wide.

Thanks for posting, I always like to see what’s cooking. Is that supposed to be an offset arm on the ride on for doing some type of edges? If so, you may want to make it flexible like they do for trimmers on tractors.

Here is an example of what I mean, if that is what the silver thing is. I would think it would be great around gas stations.

Yes I remember that. I like it.

Yes it’s a curb cleaner. That’s a great idea from the video. I’ve been looking at a wheel for a curb feeler.

I think you are on the right track, just have to mount a spring assisted flexible arm on the end, ensure your SC has a band of non marking rubber or HDPE on it and your in business. The HDPE would probably be better for non marking applications. If you don’t cover it the metal will take a pounding and be scratched to no end in one use. THey sell it in thin strips for mounting.

I use a mixture of the two items for plowing with metal equipment. A short fall back would be to take an 8 or 10 ply thick walled tire, like from a skid steer, and cut it down. People underestimate how durable vulcanized rubber is. I have a piece on the bottom of my plow, used it for 10 years, looks new. If you cut vulcanized rubber, use a respirator and don’t be surprised how many metal blades you go through.

DOn’t forget to cover your hoses in firehose sheathing, leading to the SC from the arm.

Thanks again for posting, I get to look at it and think how would I tackle this.
