Yes they’re bracketed on all sides.
The stainless brackets they come with are not enough
Usually they come with straps. I built one of ours that carries SH in with strut in the spring. Worked great except the weakest link was the angle at the base, which rusted out on me. The tank bowed out like 6" in the middle and I had to wedge a 2x4 length in there to keep it in place for the fall.
Yep same. We had two tanks split at the seam. Had to run cross member at the mid point and the 12 inches from the floor…Those things are so cheaply made. And cost way to much money for what you get.
Shane has new ones coming much thicker walled (20lbs heavier). I got to see them yesterday. The company is slacking on production so we are going to see if we can’t help expedite that because his tanks are better and they have two 5 inch lids on the sides vs one in the middle. I’ll post a picture Friday of them. I wish they had more to sell.
I have to apologize I thought those were the 100 slim lines from p wash store. Shane’s tanks are probably way better. The power wash store ones are the ones to stay away from.
No they are the slim line water dragons. I am keeping an eye on them.
I was just saying he has new and improved ones coming. I wish Shane had more to sell and I’d have used his. They are very frustrated with the tank situation.
We add back support along the cab side… & one cross member tail side.
The back brace measures near 30’ in height & the tailgate side around 20’ in height.
*Lower cab brace is 12’ in height
Love the setup man.
@TexasPressureWashing Nice looking fleet of trucks Heath!
I forgot my favorite thing about the new shop is the 1970 Datsun I am restoring. It’s been fun. Gas powered too.
Got me excited until I saw the pics. A forklift is handy to have around the shop, though.
Haha! Right? I was expecting a vintage 300z or something cool. I believe those bad boys were twin turbo in the 90’s.
Love the 8 ball shifter by the way! It’s got soul. I had one in my 71 Beetle back in the day. It was an actual 8 ball, drilled & tapped. Full disclosure; I’ve put ‘several’ miles on a forklift in my day. Find your comfortable speed & never exceed half of that. 9 years summed up into one sentence. Be careful. Always.
Agreed. Slow and steady is the goal. Slow some more.
I did a head gasket on a 300zx, Terrible engines, everything’s engine out with those things.
