Master Blaster Truck Build

4x4 and plywood mounted to the trailer. We raised it because we added pex plumbing to the gas roof pump to avoid hitting it with the lid. Bolts and washers mount the box to the plywood.

Looks great! Man truck prices have gotten out of hand though…I suspect I’ll need 1 (maybe 2) this year…not happy about it, lol.

Yes I’ve been looking off and on for over 2 months.

And $12k for 200k miles was the best deal out there in all that time…insane!

Texas trucks have high miles due to distances commonly driven. I don’t have issues with them usually with proper maintenance.

Who’s building your skid?

Local builder here in Houston.

Well, that’s different… powder coating? Are they using aluminum?

Aluminum skids. That paint isn’t powder coating. I’ll have to ask again but it’s nice stuff. I was looking at it in person today. Buying bare aluminum for mine.

It’s good your able to view the skids in person. I passed on (2) fab companies doing over the phone scaling & both built the shelves too narrow to fit my equipment. Good luck on your 3rd truck!

I don’t know if this was asked before, why not stick with the service body platform? @TexasPressureWashing

Hard to find right now. Most trucks are extremely overpriced at the moment.

Yep, pretty much cheaper to just buy new, and order it in advance at this point.

6.7 liter?? I’ve been searching for a crewcab F250 for a few months now… Dallas dealerships seem to have the best deals, even Arlington area. The way price analysis are with used vehicles, I’m looking at trucks with warranties…

6.2 gas. Just don’t need a diesel. I can get a new 6.2L engine for $900. Transmission also reasonable cost.

Complete engine?

You could get $900 for an engine here…
Though there’s transport, install… more like $ 1800+
