I have a Facebook ad running and I’ve had 3 calls. I did a neighbors driveway and have 3 referrals from that. I did a friend of a friends house today and his moms house next door right after.
My basic plan is sun is out I’m out hustling by hanging door hangers with custom quotes, using google ads, and Facebook ads. I have a decent network here who are helping spread the word.
Drive that truck around and post it near busy intersections or grocery stores. It’s an eye catcher. More people see you in a specific area, the more your brand gets known and more calls you get
Agreed. I’m all over Kingwood and people are noticing.
I can definitely say after using the 5.5 next to the 8, it’s just a night and day difference using the 8. The 8 just shoots further and puts so much more water on the house for rinsing.
This is for anyone considering stepping up or getting into this, the 8GPM just feels like cheating.
It makes a huge difference doesn’t it? I went from a 6.8 gpm to an 8 gpm and that was even night and day. If I had to guess I was probably getting closer to 9 or 9.5 with rinse tips on. I’m still waiting on @qons to do some testing so I know for sure.

I thought the season would slowly wrap-up but it’s been a race to the finish. Another few weeks and it’ll be nice to get some down time.
Yeah I know I “can” wash year round in Houston, but I fully expect it to slow down until March of 2021 soon.
Oh also using the bypass today with the surface cleaners was a noticeable jump in GPM and what felt like pressure.
Def should have used my gimbal mount and focused it more but I’m playing around with stuff.
have any pointers for facebook ads? i just can’t seem to get any results from mine. something just isn’t clicking
Just now starting them, once I have some metrics to look at I’ll let you know. Right off the bat Nextdoor is way more views but that could be my area/demographics.
But they key is a good hook. You have 4 seconds to grab someone’s attention. A good before and after or a strong video intro is the way to go.
There are a rare few who have success with Facebook ads but for most people if you don’t spend big bucks you’ll won’t get much. There is tons of info on it. Your best bet is to create organic content and get people to share it (that is the super simple explanation).

My AODD system has been nice so far. My immediate area is all brick homes, surprisingly not many need a full house wash. But the roofs are horrendous around here so it’s been my go to so far. That and driveways.
Here’s an example of a large roof I am doing. I shot this all from the ground with my air system. I’ll post the after shots but it was already looking great when I left. I’m finishing the rest after I get more SH. This was a start to finish my SH off as I was finishing the house across the street and got started early.
