Making snow?

Go ahead, laugh.

But…anyone tried using their disconnected injector or Xjet to make snow? I understand air injection is necessary.

Some are plowing it and you want to make it? :joy:

You have to have a decent sized air compressor and get an application for your phone that tells you what the wet bulb is for your area. I’ve made a ton of snow for the neighbor kids and our church youth

Not going to lie that is absolutely awesome.

Air goes in bottom. Pressure washer connects above it. High pressure fan tips. No rhyme or reason on how much air, just tinker with the valve. Sometimes it works better with full air, sometimes with it just cracked open.

I don’t really understand this site, but my wife does and see she tells me what to do

What nozzles did you use?

Probably 2502, but not positive. It’s at the shop by I’ll check soon and post better pics. I’ve got dozens of those nozzles so it’s probably what I used. I copied the design from Paul K years ago. I take no credit for originality.

That’s awesome. I don’t have a large compressor, so maybe the xjet can work.

That’s just neater than a snake turd, really cool man !

There is a fine line between making ice and making snow. I tried a little pancake compressor at the house with no success. I finally loaded up the shop compressor in the truck and ran a line to the dryer plug at the house or the baptistry water heater at the church. Gotta have air and right weather conditions. I hope you have success. It is definitely neat to do.

How much snow can you make with it?

Ideal weather bulb, about an inch an hour in a 40 by 40 ft area.

That’s pretty wild.
