I don’t know where you have been looking, but you may want to look at auctions. The govt auctions are not bad, of course you would be competing with professional resellers. Don’t just think state, think state, local, federal, and don’t forget military. Some colleges or universities have replacemnt programs that are automatically set up to sell vehicles once they get to a certain age/milage just like the car rental places. I would avoid the auctions for the equipment rental places as their stuff is usually quite beat and most tend to only sell the problem pieces.
