Kuri-Tec Softwash Hose

Just looking at the Kuri-Tec hose online. This is the hose people use for softwashing, right? I believe the K4131 is the part number for the hose on the PressureTek Bandit website.

Just wondering why it seems like everyone uses yellow instead of orange or mint green? My plastics supplier sells these, so I’m hoping to get a big roll for a softwash system later for my trailer build.

What I’m getting from that sales literature is that it doesn’t matter one way or another. I just use yellow because that’s what pressuretek sent me.

That’s what I got when I read it, but I saw on the forum somewhere that someone was saying the red option was more stiff and they preferred yellow. I think it wash @racer, but I can’t be certain.

This is the one I like. More flexible and holds up great.

It doesn’t have any chemical resistance or kinking issues?

Obviously not or I wouldn’t be using it. Probably kinked on me 1/2 dozen times in 3 years. Still good as new. Last 20’ or so little faded where it sat outside everyday for a couple of years before I got shop area.

Well thanks for that! I didn’t know. I’ll have to have them price that hose for me as well. Maybe it’s cheaper too.

Rick, I thought I read in another post you got the hose from Pro Wash (or similar). I only say that because someone put that out here and their prices were pretty good across the board. I don’t know a thing about them beyond that.

I bought 250 foot of 1/2 inch flex-tech hose… haven’t use it yet … but I rolled it up in my hose reel and rolled up just fine ,seems real durable …

Wasn’t me - got mine from Pressure Washer Products down in Clearwater, but all the distributors carry

K, thanks.
