I just lather red loctite on and have one dude hold the brush then I screw the pole on and use vice grips to get a good second twist on it then presto it don’t come off , @dperez 's way seems simple enough as well. I ain’t putting in screws so the head will possibly scratch something, We wash trucks not brick.
