I have some brushes which screw into my long reach pole. No matter what I do, the bush always wants to unscrew / untwist from the handle.
How do you guys deal with brushes who are always screwing off

I haven’t had this issue but don’t use my Unger pole too much. You could try and mar the threads up a little bit. Could also drill a hole through and use some sort of pin to hold them on. A quick wrap of duct tape could work too.
I drill a pilot hole and run a self tapping screw through the brush into the pole.
Red locktite an let it dry.
Just let it set up a day and harden!

Since we’re on the subject do you use 4-8’ extension poles in your arsenal. Before I got out of washing trucks I found the holy grail of 4-8’ poles.
A screw is much easier when you need to take the brush back off. I carry one on a 4’-8’ and one on a 8’-24’.
How is it easier when you can just twist it off??? Lol
Two points:
Thanks for the advice guys!
Easier to remove than if you used loctite or plumbers putty to keep it from spinning.
Any more we rarely use a brush, unless we have to wash those pesky conestoga vinyl sided trailers @dperez. I’ve tried the twist and lock because there all plastic to not rip paint but the twist lock always gums up rendering it usless.
Ok so then you’re not familiar with the set on plumbers putty. The bond will break if you turn it twice as hard as the force that keeps it from unthreading accidentally. So again how would drilling and using a screw be easier?
I just lather red loctite on and have one dude hold the brush then I screw the pole on and use vice grips to get a good second twist on it then presto it don’t come off , @dperez 's way seems simple enough as well. I ain’t putting in screws so the head will possibly scratch something, We wash trucks not brick.
I’ll try anything you recommend dude. Ain’t failed me yet !
I’m always changing the brushes on the end of my poles so I don’t want anything that’s permanent like Loctite or some putty. I do have to re-twist and re-tighten the pole into the brush here and there but, it doesn’t bother me too much. I have a solid wood 6 foot pole and then a 16 foot extension pole. I wouldn’t want to drill holes through my brushes or poles either
I use teflon tape
Putty comes right off. Have you guys never replaced a sink strainer flange or drain basket on a old sink?
Since @dperez refuses to answer, I’ll chime in. I’m partial to the Garelick internal collared poles.
I sent him a PM because I like to keep the prices down on our staples lol
