Kansas City BBQ

Still gonna eat it. I’m not above it.

Thats what you get for having sauce all over bbq.

I bet it still taste good off the jacket though.

A little bleachy, but still worth it.

Love midwest BBQ. I’ve had all the styles of BBQ and I’ll take the midwest style over any other all day long.

BBQ is much like ice cream in that eating the same flavor all the time, even if it IS your favorite flavor, tends to get boring. In our neck of then woods and into eastern North Carolina, the local sauce is transparent and consists mostly of vinegar. It’s good, but in my opinion not great. KC sauce is TRULY magnificent, but I love 'em all! Just don’t know whether I’d be eating off of a bleachy jacket.

So much better than East coast bbq. Went to the Carolinas a couple years ago and tried a few places, all vinegar. I don’t understand it

I do the same! No shame in shirt food.

Shirt food is good… but beard food is where it’s at.

Not everyone can be right all the time, lol. NC BBQ is where it’s at, and we’ve got it all. Western NC has sauce that is more similar to KC and Eastern NC is more vinegar based.

hahahah not to busy for jokes I see

it will make shed a tear of happiness

This must be a secret BBQ spot in St. Louis. I live here and BBQ here is crap.
I will take Jack Stacks in KC or any BBQ from Texas over St. Louis BBQ any day of the week.

That my friend is made in Oklahoma, Kansas can’t hold a candle to this magical potion…

Texas has decent BBQ. Missouri not so much. Missouri ppl are a lil hinky. :joy:

How you know someone doesn’t know anything about bbq… they still think Kansas City is in Kansas. I’d be upset too if a city of 2 million made better bbq than the entire 2nd largest state in the country.

Bubba’s in STL is the only bbq I’ve had. It was pretty good, but definitely no Joe’s… Q39… Jack Stacks… Or any other of the top 10 bbq places in the city.

Ha! Saw an opportunity to stir the pot and poke the bee hive .I was wondering if you were gonna chime in sir.

Now that’s where you’re wrong…
