ok perfect thank you alot squid. Ill def read up on that. I am just cleaning the filters not the actual hood but I am sure all of that also applies to the filters.
Donât forget to look up your local regulations and laws regarding waste water. I guess in Houston they are really picky. Not sure about your location.
Thanks yea I was wondering what to do with the waste water. They said just to pour it down the drain but that doesnât sound right to me. I know there are rules for âgrey waterâ here in bexar county i will check to see if the greasy water falls into that category. The last time i PW the filters but this time I am going to soak them in a decarbonizer and then PW or rinse off. They advertise that I can just rinse off but I am a bit skeptical because of how hard they were to get clean with just PW them
I canât say if this would be worth it for you or not, but it might be something worth looking into at some point in the future. Alternatively you may want to work for someone for free or even pay them a little. Buy them lunch or something.
