When joining multiple 50 or 100 foot sections of operating hose, Do you use a 3/8 double female coupler, or QCs?
Quick connects
why? It would seem the coupler would be more streamline and less obtrusive.
Then use the coupler. Doesn’t matter to me. Why’d you ask if you knew what you wanted to do?
But wait till you’re in the middle of a job and have 1/2 a house soaped and you blow a line and you need to get it changed quick.
This guy is too funny lol

Is anyone using 1/2" ID pressure hose? I have seen posts that suggest using a 50 foot length of 1/2" leader hose, followed by 3/8" ID hose for the rest of the run. Is anyone doing this, and if so, are you realizing any benefit?
I have a 225 foot 3/8" hose, with a 8 foot sacraficial whip on the end off an 8gpm machine. Would a 1/2" leader hose provide any benefit?

Serious question, so please answer it. Why would YOU want to run it in your application?

What’s your point?
I use unions. Point is you are argumentative at best. Not saying it’s wrong. Just slightly annoying. But so am I I’ve been told
I thought it was a requirement on this forum.
All hoses are M/F. Simples!
Not so simples if your supplier only sells M, but a quick trip to your local hydraulic shop will fix it.

I have never seen pressure hose that wan wasn’t male threads on both ends. Why would you want to change that
Old thread, but not sure if etiquette is to create new or bump old. Couldn’t find anything on this…
Is there anything wrong with using a swivel coupler to join hoses? I’m using QC right now but have got it caught a couple times so I want to try out some sort of union and the hoses I bought do not have built in swivels.
I’d add the swivel personally, as opposed to replacing the QCs
My first 200 feet of hose use coupler’s, the rest have QC if I need additional hose
