Is this powewasher good?

A lot of renting shops offer this machine as only the powerwasher option. do you think this is worth it?
its a little different from what I am used to seeing so that why I am checking with you guys.

Its 4,4 GPM & hot water

It’s electric. You might not always have access to an exterior outlet to power it.

Oh, I had not realised that, not very good then :frowning:

actually I ve been looking and seems that it can be used both with elecricity or gasoil, not sure tho

The fuel is likely just for the burner. The pump is electric.

yeah, it may be that, and why are this powerwashers so popular if they do require electricity?

They are probably more popular with factories or other industrial locations that have access to power. If they run off of regular outlets I guess homeowners could rent them to. They aren’t made for what we do because we don’t always have access to power unless you have a large enough generator to run it. It would take a heck of a generator too.

Your best bet is to try and invest in your own cold water washer for now. I know being in Spain might make that more difficult but there has to be a way. Maybe source the engine locally and order a pump from the States. There’s always access to engines and ordering just the pump will save on shipping.

Thank you very much for the help, I have been investigating and I think I have found a manufacturer which seems pretty nice (https://www.limge.com/), I will ask for prices and see how they are. I am afraid this is the only one appart from kaercher so I hope they are good

I was looking for hot ones and found a only gas 4gpm machine but the shop where they rent it is a bit far.

Do you think I should go for a cold one instead of hot one?

If you’re renting it just depends on the job. You can get by using only cold water unless you’re dealing with a lot of oil and grease like the drive through lane at a fast food joint. If you’re purchasing you just have to weigh the pros and cons depending on the type of work you’re targeting. Many just buy a cold because that’s all they need 95% of the time. If they land a job where they need hot they’ll just rent one. I bet 90% of the guys on the forum only have cold water and they get by just fine. You just have to decide if the added luxury of hot water is worth it. You might not need it very often but it can sure come in handy when you do.
