Is it an SEO “hack”?

Over the last two months any time I get a call in I ask them to submit their project information through the website. Google loves when your website is not only visited and searched for, but when it’s interacted with. We’ve got a stretch of decent weather and lined up a ton of work this week over the last two days.

The phone is blowing up and more importantly the website.

Get people to interact more with your website. I think I’m going to create a button on the homepage for people who call first. So far it hasn’t been an issue after chatting with folks to get them to take 60 seconds to interact. It seems to be paying off.

I don’t respond to most of the emails that come from my website. They are usually residential customers looking for prices just searching on the internet. I figure if they call they are more interested in scheduling or are past customers.

@Innocentbystander I can only hope to be in that position in the future.

@squidskc do you know for sure that it helps your ranking? I’m not doubting you just curious because if that’s the case id expect my seo guy to let me know. I’ll ask him tomorrow and post back what I fimd out. Pretty sure he knows what he’s doing but if it helps at all then it’s something I should be doing myself…er, having my wife do I mean. I don’t do much office work anymore or I wouldnt have time to chat with you fine folks.

When I met with a local SEO guy who did an audit of my site a year ago he said it wasn’t easy/inviting to interact with the site. He told me google loves when people click through and engage with forms and especially submit payment information. If people are buying from you Google sees that as a positive thing and it helps rankings. I’d love to hear what your guy says.

Traffic is huge for SEO 90% of my customers come from my contact form on my website. It’s 2018…people want convenience. I expect price shopping… Average of 5 estimate request a day…,have been converting 3 out of that. I guarantee a quote in 24 hours, usually get it out within an hour or two.

3 days later if they haven’t committed yet I’ll follow up. The follow up has been a huge tool I haven’t used in the past. The response I’ve been getting lately is well I’m still waiting on the other quotes but they haven’t called me back…let’s go ahead and schedule.

My phone rings less which I love, I’d rather email then talk on the phone.

This was Monday morning from 8-11, I find Monday’s to be the busiest time of the week for new customers. Coincidence or do others see the same trend?

7 calls yesterday none today I’m right there with ya.

This is 100% a valid hack. It works and it’s natural.

This is the 3rd mention we’ve gotten in a week on Facebook. It feels super good, but it’s also helping drive traffic to the website.

Always look for ways to drive traffic.

Also, if anyone could send me two more machines and two full timers that’d be great…

Awesome! I try and drive my customers to our website to fill out a form also. So much easier and convenient for both parties.

Do you manually do it or use responsi bid or HCP new feature? Thought of using HCPs new feature but not sure
