iPhone XS Max - dual phone numbers?

We tried the grasshopper 30 day trial and hated it… started using verison one talk last spring and it works good most the time… we have 3 lines connected to it

Here’s a rather unorthodox solution that we’ll be using sometime soon:

Next time we go into the cell shop for an upgraded phone, my wife and I will be trading phone numbers. My cell number has been the business line for nearly a dozen years. As of late, we’ve been screening all calls from unknown numbers and returning them once or twice a day. She’s slowly but steadily been taking on more of the office duties. So this solution is perfect for our situation.

I’ll finally have a “personal” cell phone. Won’t be pestered all day by spammers and customers. :sunglasses:

Really didn’t like grasshopper at all. Seemed there was double the telemarking. Been using the dual sim for a couple months now and loving it. One phone, two actual cell numbers. There’s a B icon that’s appears so I know it’s a business call.

@Cleaningbro does Verizon One Talk have call forwarding where I can have my wife’s and my phone ring simultaneously? Can we both receive the same texts and see each other’s replies? It looks like we can have a separate voicemail and use our cell phones as two separate lines if I read Verizon correctly.

Yes yes and I think yes… it rings to all 3 phones if we want and we can barge each others calls to join a conversation if we want or just forward the call to each other… we might set it up different soon to have customers press a number for who the want to talk to when they call which will also reduce the junk calls

For some reason sometimes the call can be poor quality which is annoying but it usually works good

Ok. Good to know. You need a verizon business account which I don’t have. I would have to completely change my account.

I’ve been looking into Grasshopper and Phone.com. I might go with Grasshopper. I’m afraid to switch and have problems conducting business.

Did you ever go with one of these services or a different service? Looking into it. Phone.com seems like a decent deal but so does the GoDaddy Streamline.

I went with Grasshopper. I am happy with it and would recommend it.
