Introducing myself!

Hello,
First I would like to start off by introducing myself. I’m David, owner/operator of Hydro-Blast Power Wash. I’m in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area working on mainly residential right now. I’ve been in the business for about a year now. I’m not on home advisor but will be a member tomorrow! From the reviews of you guys on here it seems well worth it so I’ll give it a try. I’m on thumbtack daily and landed my first job next week. I’ve been on thumbtack for about 3 weeks now and haven’t had much luck. I see it’s not really worth it anyways but worth the try. I’ve been getting most of my jobs through Facebook the past year. Im really relying on homeadvisor to bring me some business as well as passing out some flyers. I’m running a 4gpm 4K PSI cold water pressure washer. I am using a trailer, but am hoping to move up to a flatbed as profit grows. I’ve been wanting to see how many of you guys use a two step gun to wash houses? I feel like it works wonders for me as I can change from bleach/emulsifier plus to water at the gun. I found the video on YouTube on how to make the gun so I bought the hardware to do it and it is the best I’ve done so far. I also use a pink and blue tip (2nd story tips). I’m getting my bleach at a local pool supply store at 12.5 percent sodium hypochlorite. I can’t believe it took me a year to even join PWRA as I pretty much live on reading the forums everyday!

Welcome. I’m new too! I use a 12" Lance with a j-rod to soft wash with.

Show us a picture of your gun setup.

I’d like to see that too!

Update: I just was approved with Homeadvisor! I hope to get great results.

Not to hijack, but was there a startup fee on HA?

Just a $347 annual fee.

That’s due upfront?

Yes, upfront

Thanks bud!

Looks cool but aren’t you having to haul around all those hoses? That’s a lot of weight isn’t it, in addition to the gun itself. Of course I get ticked if I have to break out my 12 inch lance on a job.

Lol the hoses don’t really bother me, I would rather pull a few extra pounds than running back and forth to the trailer…
