Cypress casualty
Great job getting insurance. Heading in right direction
Joseph Walters is a RIP-OFF!! They just quoted me $1800 for my 2nd year. And I have 0 claims. Gonna have to call around as I canât justify that. So ridiculous.
Based on a previous post in this thread, I contacted Frank Crum. They sent me list of several local agents. It saved me almost 250.00 from my previous year (staining and PW fences only coverage) but it saved me 1400.00 over what I was getting bumped to because I added PW as a separate category from fence staining.
I am doing the same thing. JW is way to high. I tried Cypress Casualty in TX, Erie and Nationwide. Only one who writes for NJ is Nationwide but they said they can only quote me for 2 stories.
Anyone have an insurance company in NJ they recommend?
SubscribedâŚ
Liability through Ted Johnson in Alabama (TJM group) Workmans compared through Ap Intego (through Patriots Software Payroll). Great Rates with both companies.
Hi @Clean_Blue,
Itâs been a while, but just curious if you ever found an affordable company to insure your PW business in NJ? Doesnât seem to be too many out there.
No I havenât. I am still with Joseph Walters. There are few companies out there but they donât have Care, Custody and Control included. If you find something let me know but make sure to ask direct questions, like if you damage someoneâs siding, windows⌠will they cover you. The ones I spoke to said they would not.
Ugh, isnât that the whole point of insurance for PW Obviously you donât have to answer if you donât want to, but curious what JDW charges for an NJ PW company? Based on other prices Iâve seen on here, Iâm guessing itâs around $150 a month.
Anyway, thanks for the reply, I will keep searching and let you know if I find anything that seems more reasonable/affordable for NJ.
My wife pays the insurance but I know it was $1,800 a couple of years ago. It seems to go up a $100 every year. My wife asked why and they said they get more claims every year. It was a year or two ago and they said they had a company get something wet that caused the house to burn down and someone died. I guess the more guys/gals who get into it the more idiots that are going to make claims and the more we have to pay.
Yikes. Thanks for the info!
Joseph Walters Qouted me $4,000ish
Spoke to Chandra⌠awesome service and price
Just got my first quote. $977/annually so $81.42/mo.
Too bad we couldnât buy insurance just for the months we need it.
Thatâs pretty fair if itâs good coverage with CCC.
What agency quoted you this?
Does it include roofs up to 3 stories?
Hello everyone! I am new here and am curious about how everyone is receiving low insurance premiums? I went through an online broker and he said most companies denied me coverage due to serving both residential and commercial clients. One company, hicox i believe, actually did give me a quote of $5k annually for general liability. I then went to a local broker and he came back with $3k annually. Both $2 million dollar gen liability policies and both state that I do not do any roof cleaning and neither include my vehicle. I did get my equipment insured, but that was $550 on top of the $3k annually. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Post what state youâre from so guys in your area can help. Some carriers are only available in certain states.
Some use that Joseph D. Walters but I think they might be expensive too. All I can say is to call another broker and see what they can find. The first broker I called was able to hook me up but maybe different brokers only deal with certain carriers.
i will look them up since im in Longview tx
