Instant pricing - Online Booking. Who’s doing it?

I like it Sir! Not to pick but is it less then or less than under the concrete pad description?

I like it. It’ll be interesting to hear the numbers later this season. I was going to look into the online booking this winter too but haven’t got around to it. How difficult is it to setup?

It was pretty simple, a few hours.

Once and done there smarty pants. I did make one screw up and thought I was gonna have to pull it back out right after installation. I thought the torque converter seal was leaking because I could see trans fluid dripping down. I knew I had put it on there but thought maybe I got a bad seal. It just so happened I had pulled the pan back off because I decided to replace the shift solenoids and I didn’t torque the bolts again. The way the truck was angled it sure looked like it was coming from higher up. She’s been running perfect for about two months. Well, the transmission at least. Getting ready to replace the fuel pump…lol

@Patriotspwashing So will this be a part of your website or will it be on Markate’s website? Currently, it’s on Markate which is why I’m asking.

The markate site is more mobile friendly then if you inject the code to be on your website. so the funnel goes like this.

Website homepage + click on our prices + our “landing page” with step 1 to capture customer data + click on next step and it auto directs to the markate page+

when used on facebook ads or google ads it will be Landing page + markate page

and ive changed up our “packages” as they seemed confusing and made it way simplier.

I figured it was a coding / user friendly thing that might need Markate to be the last page.

markate gives you a code you can put on your site, but it was kind of glitchy. redirecting to their site just seems to work better.

Yeah I’m looking at redirecting to square ups site as well.

I use Square to accept payments but Markate basically takes care of everything or at least sending the info to Square. Markate gives you a handful of different payment processors to choose from when you first sign up with them. I email an invoice after I finish a job or later that evening. They can then click a button to view invoice and make a payment online. I’m not really sure what happens after they click the button but a day or two later I get money deposited into my account. :money_mouth_face:

Maybe you’re talking about where someone can add a house wash or other service to their shopping cart and pay for it beforehand? I’m not very good at the website or technical stuff so forgive me if you’re talking about something else.

I’m looking at putting a “Book now” button on my site that takes them to a list of services to buy. So online booking but using square up. Square up appointments offers it. I had to create all my services in it.

I agree with everything assumed. A lot of people dont wanna talk to anyone anymore. Which is fine by me, visa or mc?

I’ve used HCP for years and online booking as long as you promote it will be a yuuge hit!

Easily my favorite new skool piece of tech we have now days, yes better than Google maps… well but not better than seo… so online booking is number 2.

Also just add your minimum in the description of service it works. “Keep in mind we have 120$ minimum service”

You know what just hit me, that’s a short and awesome call to action for marketing, even on the back of a shirt if you just put book now lol I gueanettee it would drum up conversations lol

I know Bobby Walker pushes responsibid and says he loves it. I went through it on his site and seemed okay. I’ve never been a big fan of letting people book online but did get the Markate CRM and saw that’s an option so I may give it a shot eventually. I’m curious to know if you can add retargeting codes to the form so if someone starts filling it out and leaves, you can hit them with a “don’t forget to complete you estimate” ad on FB or Goog. Curious to see your conversion percentage on it.

Really looking forward to reading your experiences with this, as a new washer it’s not yet for me but I’m quite interested in it. Help me out here if you know better, but I believe there is/was a guy on youtube in the PNW area who uses straight online sales though I can’t recall his business’ or his name right now.

Square appointments works and is free but I couldn’t get graphics on it. If you use the website feature those items with pictures don’t link to your calendar I’ve found so far. I’ll probably move to Markates online booking because they don’t integrate with Square Appointments calendar (I checked with Markate)

Just an update… the online booking tool has
Worked great for us. Have received really good feedback from customers who have used it.

  1. Have not talked to a residential customer on the phone In 2 months

  2. have a huge list of people and cell phone # for retargeting during slow months

  3. schedule 2-4 jobs every day from the booking form (45% booking rate., that’s a real number…20 leads and. 9 jobs) …it’s low but some of that is due to being scheduled out 6 weeks) …my phone just dings and a job
Is scheduled. Zero work on my end.

  4. spent $0 on marketing this year, last year I was at 3 grand with Facebook and google ads by this time of year

  5. scheduled out 6 weeks.

  6. a lot of compliments, customer feedback on how they like the process

  7. Dropped exterior windows, roofs, and decks…really the only way to do instant pricing is by offering limited services. Dropping those was the best decision I’ve made in my business.

I can see every time they access the pricing page, they have to fill out there name and # … a lot of customers will access it and then 2-3 hours later get back on and schedule.

I asked a few customers why they chose us and their response was that they seen our pricing and tried to call other companies for a quote and nobody would answer their phones or call back.

THE BEST PART -

It weeds out price shoppers and Karen’s. Most people who use the online booking form and schedule fit our customer avitar as our “perfect” customer. Middle age, female, neighborhood homes in the 200-350k range.

If you have been thinking about doing it…DO IT!
