Hey there friends I installed a psi guage on my 3500 hot water unit and when you hold the gun wide open it only reads 1100 psi when u release it, it jumps to 3000psi then 0 can anyone explain this. It does the same thing when installed on the trigger. I cant really tell a difference in pressure since I bought the unit new last year.only about 60 hours on it(upload://eoJ8CUYgjoswNPrRVsODq8n5VNd.jpeg)
The pressure is determined by the size of tip you’re using on the end of your wand. when you release the trigger it builds up to 3,000 at the pump and then when the unloader kicks in it drops down to zero as it should.
