Hi folks! Newbie here and I just acquired a Simpson ALH4240 with a GX390 motor and Cat Pump. I would like to remove the injector assembly completely and I managed to find a SS adaptor (M20 threaded connection) to completely replace the injector.

Question : is it ok to remove the Check valve as well from a safety and pump performance stand point?

Check valve and seat is 438 and 439 443 444 446in the diagram attached.

While you possibly could, why not just sell it off and get a professional machine? If you’re going to gut it pull that unloader and cap it too then run a remote mounted flow actuated unloader (GP ZK5)

Thanks dperez. Is it necessary to take the u loader off though for what I’m trying to achieve?
