To be honest, I got mine used, from a friend, in exchange for around $700 worth of power washing and window cleaning. A couple of the sections are really due for replacement.

I have a cable lock that can reach around all of the ladders. But I very rarely use it around here.

See I’m not necessarily scared of heights, I just have a healthy respect for gravity and the square cube law…

An ant falling off a table walks away unruffled, my corpulent rear end falling off a ladder results in more serious repercussion…

Finally got an invoice for the fabrication work. They still have to weld the holes in the plastic tanks shut. But their guy has been away on vacation.

Not cheap, but hardly a horrible quote. Think how much utility you have gained.

It will pay for itself easy enough.

$85 an hour sounds like a lot , but it’s really not bad

If you had seen their shop, you’d think it was even less. They’ve got 50x the overhead I do.

Are you going to pay invoice before all work is finished?

Yes. Want to make sure I can write it off for this year’s taxes.

I saw where you posted that you were using 3/8” flexzilla airline for your water fed pole. I am installing an 18” reel that I want to have dual purpose for. I want to have the first hundred feet of 5/8” flexzilla come off completely to connect to the spigot and on a camlock on the truck end going to a 3 way splitter. One to the buffer tank, one to the 1” supply hose reel/wfp line splitter, and one to my mix tank. I was thinking of having an additional 200 feet of flexzilla connected through the reel to use both as regular garden sprayer on the end to have a hose around the job to wet down plants or help rinse and then have it double as the line for the wfp. Would using 5/8” flexzilla be too big as a wfp line before connecting it to my 50’ 1/4” line off the pole? I am trying to avoid finding room to fit a 4th reel. Would be cool to just turn the splitters to feed the supply hose reel through the di tank and have a wfp connected at the other end. Almost all jobs I have a guy helping me and it’s nice to have a regular garden hose around too for him to help me where extra water is needed, especially when I’m soaping with sh like around stained wood or sensitive plants. Right now we break out the zerogpro crap for that purpose and it’s all stuffed in 5 gal buckets…

The issue I see is that you would need to flush the hose really well each time you want to use the wfp.

You can find space for another 12” reel. I believe in you

Mini update: added a camp water heater to my wfp setup for some early spring window cleaning. The blue rigid insulation is just there as a windbreak to keep the heater from blowing out.

Keep me updated on the heater and how it works. We have four different ones still in boxes for reviews and give aways but we haven’t set one up at the cabin yet.

After a few hours of using today, I’m not terribly impressed. Didn’t seem to stay lit for very long, and was not reliable at igniting each time I restarted the flow of water.

It worked alright while I was testing it yesterday on tap pressure. So my guess would be that the flow rate I’m using is just on the threshold for the sensor to detect. It’s supposed to kick on with as little as .5 gpm, and I really thought I was using more than that with the wfp. Maybe I’m not, or maybe the sensor just isn’t to spec.

I’ll check with my window cleaning peeps and see if anyone has had success tweaking the sensitivity.

Hey grump I need to replace the one in my BBq trailer needs to be electric I will definitely give it a review if you send it

The way it works is, he does the the review and then pick random winners for things. It is on the up and up, don’t want to upset sponsors. But, I’ll see if we have duplicates of something. There is literally a garage full of stuff that we have to do something with. A lot is unsolicited so those we are free to do what we want with.

Lot of followers so companies are always sending something

Wow thank you sir I haven’t forgot about your beer cozies either just behind on projects
