Hey guys looking for some help here if anyone has seen something similar.
Running a igx800. The last week it’s shut down about 15-20 seconds after starting when cold. I typically run the hose to the furthest area in the back of the home and then work around from there, and it’s shutting off before I get to the wand.
I’ve got it going after by bringing the wand close and getting on the trigger pretty quickly. After it runs for 30 seconds or so all is good for the rest of the job.
Any ideas what it could be? I’m stumped and couldn’t find anything.

Unloader might be set a little high? If too much pressure is building before the motor has a chance to put out full HP, that might be causing the stalling.
Switching to a flow actuated unloader may also help.
May be the unloader. I’ve been blowing through hoses lately and wondering if that may be an issue. I haven’t touched the unloader since purchasing last spring.
I’ll look into that.
If it’s stalling, check your air vent on the gas tank. Those 800s suck a lot of air. Had a similar issue. Your issue could be completely different but worth checking anyways. You can also scan the QR code on the side. There’s some useful information there as well. Good luck.

My GX630 did the same thing right after buying it. Oil dropped below half and it kept shutting off. Glad that’s all it was.
Glad you got it sorted.
Another issue that can cause this is bad electrical connections. I had a bad ground on my iGX700 last year that was causing it to shut down after starting up.
